Memorable Moment:- During dress rehearsal the men's chorus were parading along a rostrum at the back of the stage. The centre rostrum had not been fully put together and collapsed after Frank Kaye had passed over it. As the back of the stage was in semi-darkness none of the other chorus members noticed the pit and led by Tom Abbott they all fell in, one by one, on top of each other.
